Dishonesty on the limelight

When I looked on a dictionary what limelight means, I found out that is putting something on a light and showing it publicly.
Then I said," what?you must show your dishonesty publicly?"Then I realized, it is the right thing to do.
This is the problem of many people - afraid of being transparent and vulnerable. But this is what God tells us to do and we should obey.
This topic applies when we are prompted by Holy Spirit to rebuke someone. But because we are shy, we will pretend that everything is okay and the problem is not solved. That is also a form of lying.
All forms of lying should be eradicated from us cause lying is for satan and we are no longer with satan. We are with Jesus Christ now!

"But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure.
It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others.
It is full of mercy and good deeds.
It shows no partiality and is always sincere."

The true wisdom that comes from heaven above should make us pure. If we are to ask if what we will do will please the Father then we should check our hearts and ask ourselves first these questions ," Am I not stirring up wrong motives in my heart if I do this thing?" ," What is my intention in doing this thing? Am I doing this to stir up competition?
The book True christianity says ,"... True wisdom shows no spirit of competition; instead, it esteems God and others first."

God is Holy and He wants us to be holy too!
We are called His saints...
The wisdom that comes from Him will and should make us holy...

The movie speaks!

I have watched the movie "Facing the Giants" for gazillion times already. But what really amazes me is the power of the Holy Spirit empowering the movie. Even though I watched it over and over again, still it speaks to me over and over again. The movie is really powerful.
As we watched the movie in our cell group, I can't stop tears rolling from my eyes because of the movie's message and heart - warming scenes. It reminds me of God's overwhelming power, awesomeness, and majesty. Bravo!

The words that rhema on my heart:

1. "Give me your very best. Don't quit on me!"

Living in this fallen world which brings catastrophe, pain, disappointment, hurts, pains, and unknown future, it is easy to give up. It is easy to quit. But there is God sitting on His throne as always. He will never be enthroned. His in control of everything! He is just asking to us not to quit on Him and give our very best. The outcome is in His hands. And you know what's good with God? 1Corinthians2:9-10 and Romans 8:28, everything works for the good of those who love Him.
Just give your best and don't quit on Him!

2. "Prepare for the rain!"

Let your actions show that you are expecting something good to happen. Let your words speak claiming that God is pouring His bountiful blessings on you. Let your heart jump on joy exclaiming God is good!

3." I will still love you even if you don't give my heart's desire," and ,"If we win, we praise God and if we lose,we Praise God."

It is easy to praise and love God if He's giving you all of your heart's desire. That's what satan told God about Job! Faith based on rewards and gifts are shallow. It's not about the gift, it is all about the Giver!
Love God above all else.
Praise God in dark times.
We will learn to be contented if we know that God is our Ultimate Satisfaction and nothing else and no one else. Amen!

4."God cares in all the aspects of your life. He cares where your heart is. If your heart and faith is on the football then He cares about it."

Surrender every tiny detail of your life to God for He is concern on all parts,facets, and aspects of your life. Not just the so - called "spiritual ones".
God cares about them.
God cares about you!

5. "If you think you will lose even before the game starts then indeed you will really lose," and, "Stop thinking inferior. Stop thinking mediocre.!"

The result of the battle can already be determined inside of our minds. Philippians 4:8 says,"Think of what is good,pure, holy, excellent,praise - worthy..."(Paraphrased).

6. Brock's death - crawl
Venturing this world gives you an uncertain future.Like Brock who can't seen where part of the field he is already,likewise,we can't also see what's going to happen in our lives and where part of journey are we already. But that's what the Bible says," Live by faith and not by sight". For me, if we already know what 's going to happen then we will not depend on God anymore. We want that feeling because we don't want to feel vulnerable and unstable. But that's not the reality. The reality is we are created to depend on God like appliances on electricity, like car on fuel, and like a baby to its mother. We need to depend on God and trust Him that He has a wonderful plan for our lives.

DAY 1

People, by nature, are stubborn beings. We tend not to listen to others because of our pride. We are rebellious! We think that we know all things in spite of the foolish things we do. As christians we should surrender this hard - headed attitude of ours. We should listen more and absorb more on what others tell us if we know if it is for our own good. Let us accept constructive criticisms. Besides what is their profit on telling us good advices - none!There's a famous saying that says," We have two ears and one mouth so that we will hear more and speak less." Instead of saying,"Nobody's going to tell me what to do." , start asking others ,"Tell me what to do!"




Crave for knowledge!
Starve for Wisdom!
Cry out for insight!
Search for them as you would for lost money!
Be hungry to learn more!


Besides proverbs tells us that wisdom and understanding is more valuable and precious than expensive rubies and diamonds.
This applies especially to ethereal wisdom,if not even more! For God's thoughts are higher than ours. For God's ways are different than our ways. Let's seek God's wisdom and absorb it, meditate, and do it! God will not withhold it to us for He says,"Ask and you will receive, search and you will find,Knock and the door will be opened"
Ask God for wisdom and understanding.
Search God's wisdom like a hidden treasure.
Knock on God's heart to pour out His wisdom and understanding to us like rain that rejuvenates and refreshes us.
